Sailing - Hobie Cat 16: Course syllabus

According to your level, different subjects will be dealt with :

 

Beginner's level :

• Boat handling
• Boat rigging and setting (onshore)
• Helm control/sails settings
• Points of sailing, apparent wind, difference with a dinghy
• Coordination helmsman/crew
• Trapeze use (crew)

 

Advanced level :

• Trapeze use (helmsman)
• Advanced coordination helmsman/crew
• Boat attitude
• Dynamic trimmings while sailing
• Introduction to racing.
